First published in 1973 under the title 'Aeroplane Monthly', the 'Monthly' part of the title was dropped in 1999. Aeroplane/Aeroplane monthly primarily focuses on the period 1930-1960 and centers on content from the UK and Europe.
A regular feature introduced in 2000 called Database providing comprehensive coverage of a selected aircraft type each month and is quite popular.
